Medical translations accompany people in situations that aren’t routine. A medical report, a package leaflet, a piece of patient information must work in Spanish with the same precision as the German original, with no room for interpretation.

Responsibility and confidentiality
Medical texts contain special-category personal data under the GDPR (Art. 9). I handle these documents with the same professional secrecy that binds me as a sworn interpreter (§ 189 GVG). Documents are exchanged via secure channels.
Where on-site interpreting at a hospital or specialist’s office is required, I will be candid about whether the situation is suitable or whether an alternative would be more appropriate.
